Enterprise Sales Representative (Boston, MA based)

The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales background with direct experience in consultative, solution based selling. Proven success in driving an engagement at the CEO level as well as other mid and lower level constituents is required. You should be a self-starter who will be responsible for researching, prospecting and calling within an assigned sales territory. You will be responsible for calling on hospitals and organizations and work directly with your prospects throughout the sales process. You will consult with healthcare supply chain professionals regarding both software and service solutions. You will utilize your excellent relationship building, negotiating, and technical skills to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business from lead sources and develop new clients in a defined territory for all MHS service lines
  • Support and grow all current clients by understanding and analyzing their needs
  • Present and articulate service lines and features, benefits, and overall service solutions
  • Build and maintain client relationships
  • Engage in regular monthly and quarterly business reviews and weekly forecast activities
  • Meet and exceed revenue goals on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Identify and capitalize upon growth opportunities
  • Prepare proposals, reports and ROI calculations
  • Continually learn service lines and acquire better selling skills
  • Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues, service lines, and lead generation
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, trade shows, training seminars and workshops
  • Maintain daily sales and productivity goals
  • Prepare routine periodic sales and activity reports, as required
  • Suggest new ideas and proactive inside sales programs based on day-to-day activity
  • Create & articulate compelling value propositions around MHS services
  • Prospecting, qualifying, solution presentation and closing of existing account opportunities as well as assigned current customers in that region
  • Provide follow-up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction with products and/or services provided
  • This position requires strong Account Management, client interface and presentation skills

Requirements

  • 7 – 10 years of technology related sales or business development experience
  • BA/BS degree required
  • Healthcare industry experience necessary
  • Proven sales success into large accounts (six figure deals)
  • Must have excellent people/influencing skills and ability to build effective and long-term business relationships
  • Self-motivated with the initiative to learn our services and become a resource to our clients
  • Proven effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Solid organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and database maintenance
  • Experience with leading CRM system - salesforce.com and/or Siebel a plus significant travel required
