Business Development Representative
This position is responsible for qualifying leads and building relationships with prospects. Business development responsibilities include lead qualification, management of in bound leads from all sources, list compiling, research, and other projects as assigned. Located in Fairfield Ct, this inside sales position primarily involves communicating to MHS prospects via telephone and email to provide company and product information and to set up appointments for MHS Enterprise Sales Team. The Business Development Representative will also work closely with the Enterprise Sales Team in providing administrative support, such as lead distribution and lead tracking.
Responsibilities
* Filter, call, and generate qualified leads
* Build and maintain relationships with prospects
* Enter prospect contact information, when necessary, and response data into lead
management system
* Manage all responses and leads – this involves monitoring all leads to ensure hot leads and responses are distributed immediately to the Enterprise Sales Team and all other responses are appropriately qualified or disqualified
* Follow-up on distributed leads to ensure proper status reporting
Minimum Qualificatons
* 1-3 years experience in a sales support role in a fast paced sales environment required
* Excellent telephone skills with the ability to be persistent
* Proven effective communication skills, both verbal and written
* Self motivated
* Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and database maintenance
* Experience with leading CRM system - salesforce.com and/or Siebel a plus
* Healthcare experience a plus
