Management Health Solutions hires David Buscema to oversee off-shore production control

(Fairfield, CT) Management Health Solutions (“MHS”), a leading, independent provider of inventory optimization solutions for hospitals and healthcare systems, has hired David Buscema as the Vice President & General Manager, Shared Services. In his new role, Buscema will be managing off-shore production control and leveraging global outsourcing services.

“He is a world-class operator with a keen understanding of analytics and who will drive operations to continually improve quality, efficiency measures and the accuracy of all products delivered to our customers,” said Bill Zierolf, President and CEO of MHS.

Buscema brings to MHS a breadth of global operations and off-shore management experience spanning 14 years with additional core competencies such as vendor management, business analytics and reporting, total quality management, and project planning and development. His achievements in previous positions include growing business abroad, significantly increasing team and utilization productivity and coordinating off-shore start-up operations.

“Managing assets abroad is yet another critical aspect of helping to ensure that MHS will continually be able to deliver the most comprehensive solutions to its customers,” he said.

Buscema earned a B.S. in Ocean Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, and a Doctor of Engineering degree in Plastics Engineering from the University of Lowell (Mass.).
