Fairfield, Connecticut, November 5, 2009 – The Association for Healthcare Resource & Materials Management (AHRMM) awarded “Lifetime Fellow” status, its highest achievement in the resource and materials management field, to Management Health Solution’s co-founder and executive vice president, Mike Ferris. “This prestigious recognition reflects over 30 years as a leader in healthcare, and we are very proud of Mike’s achievement in our industry,” said Bill Zierolf, CEO of MHS.
AHRMM is a personal membership extension of the American Hospital Association, comprised of over 3,000 executives in healthcare resource and materials management. Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP) members earn Fellow status through continuing education, experience, professional activities and writing an original paper on a current aspect of materials management. There are only 23 Lifetime Fellows who have distinguished themselves over the period of at least 15 years and been recertified as a Fellow at least three times. Mr. Ferris earned his initial Fellow status in 1997.
